Sandeep Danda
Seattle · Software Development Engineer
I build software you only notice when it breaks. Off the clock: cooking, badminton, and trails.
01
Where I worked
Three roles across financial software, enterprise platforms, and cloud services.
02
Things I build
I start every project to learn one thing, and finish it having accidentally learned five.
- Project
Not Another Rewatch
Semantic movie search backed by offline embeddings.
- Project
ReadLoot
A vocabulary RPG spanning web, API, and CLI.
- Project
Wellness Pro
Membership, bookings, payments, and admin analytics.
- Project
Fake News Detection
Testing how news classifiers fail across dataset distributions.
- Project
Reinforcement Learning
Comparing tabular and deep RL across gridworld and trading environments.
03
Where I studied
A boarding school at ten, a grad school at twenty-five, and a whole lot of homesick phone calls in between.
04
Nice to meet you
The parts a resume leaves out.

I grew up in Jalubavula, a village in Telangana you've never heard of and probably can't pronounce - and that's kind of my favorite thing about it. Somewhere between there and Seattle I started building software at Amazon.
I care about doing the quiet work well and then actually going home. Weekends are for cooking, badminton, and PNW trails. I fall down AI-tooling rabbit holes for fun.
