What
A membership and scheduling platform for a fictional health club. Members book sessions and pay dues. Trainers see their upcoming week and log completed sessions. Admins run reports on revenue and attendance.
Approach
Standard three-tier: Spring Boot backend with a REST API, React frontend split by role, MySQL for persistence. Deployed on AWS with EC2 + RDS. The interesting part was the billing cycle - proration for mid-month signups and holds for paused memberships.
